Poetry by Langston Hughes - The Weary Blues

This video was absolutely amazing. The way the poem was read and how the mini videos corresponded with the poem. It was kind of old school, black and white but never the less it was great. The video kind of made me feel first hand what the people were going through. The emotion of the speaker and the pictures flashing before us kind of gave us an idea of how people over came these obstacles and tried to make the best of what they had. Video clips of people having fun dancing and smiling, that is what the Harlem Renaissance was about.
